A self taught photographer living in the South West of Scotland. After completing my University degree in Film and Media Studies in 2007, I took some time out before focusing on which path I wanted to go down. I began working for The Edinburgh Woollen mill in February 2009, originally employed as a studio assistant. I already had a keen interest in photography but had had never used Photoshop or Lightroom. It was here along with online tutorials that I learned to edit my images, back in the days where Instagram filters didn't exist. I was soon promoted to Studio Photographer and ultimately became the whole photography team, photographing and editing all our product images for the website. Somewhere along the line I realised that while I enjoyed my job it was just not enough. As a little girl I had always enjoyed going for walks and being outside, this lead me to my true passion for landscape photography. I still work for EWM but whenever I'm not in the studio I can always be found out running around with my camera chasing the sun. I love to create beautiful images that inspire people to want to visit the places I have been and love them as much as I do.
